Corporate and Sporting Club Trophy and Contents Insurance Valuations Over the past 7 years David has run a highly successful Sporting Club Valuation Business. Principally concentrating on historic Golf Clubs throughout the United Kingdom he has valued over 130 Collections of Silverware and Memorabilia.
David Tilleke is an independent professional Auctioneer and Valuer with 30 years experience. Trained by Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers in the 1980s he rose to be Group General Manager, before leaving to set up his own independent Auctioneering/Valuations Service and Antiquarian Print Shop in London.
He often works to, and is recommended by, Circle Golf Insurance.
Since leaving the Army in 1985 he has graduated through the ranks of Auctioneering and last year was privileged to have taken part of an Auction at Sothebys London. This July and thanks to Royal Birkdale Golf Club he helped out at their prestigious Clubhouse during the Open Championship. He was also lucky enough to visit and value the Clubhouse contents of four premier Lancashire golf Clubs during this ten day period. Every day was magic and this journey enabled him to see and value JAA Berrie's iconic portrait of Bobby Jones at Wallasey , the Hitler Trophy at Hesketh as well as valuing the Contents of both Ormskirk and Davenport Golf Clubs..
As Autumn 2017 heads into Winter he has recently visited Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and has been privileged to value the contents of Pannall Golf Club, Lindrick and Lincoln.
It is sadly clear that the Golf Club market place diminishes with every club valued but with three more years planned before retirement he hopes to notch up at least another 30 Clubs.
